My name is Kayemba. I am 25 years old. I was living on the streets of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. I saw many children struggling. I was 21 years old at that time, and I started thinking about life, and how there were so many children sick and dying, especially because there was no food. I started gathering scrap and started selling whatever I could. I started with 5 children, but we had nothing and had nowhere to stay. We lived on the streets in boxes. As time went on, I gathered 50 children to me to take care of. Since then I have lost 6 children who have died due to lack of food and water. It’s been heartbreaking. People promised to help, but no one ever did. One of the children who died, his name was Amos, he always said to me, “Vicent, we are winners, tomorrow let’s try our best in Yahusha’s Name!” …I still remember that. By the grace of God, He has connected me with many brothers and sisters on Facebook who have helped us, but we still struggle to pay for basic necessities like rent, food, and water. The young girls need feminine products, and we also need clothes and school supplies. I pray for all the innocent children. We need your help. Anything you provide helps.
